Why Do My Socks Slip Down Into My Shoe

Sin

SAYS THE LORD JESUS \u200b\u200bCHRIST THE GREATEST SIN IS:

He that believeth on the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.
John, Chapter 3, Verse 36.

what God thinks
God in the Bible clearly shows what he thinks of people in the world.
all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
are all under sin; There is none righteous, no not one: there is none that doeth good, no not one. Romans 3:9,10,12

God tells us not only that all have sinned, but, as we are sinners, none of what we do pleases him. We are all as unclean, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6

KNOW WHAT GOD
Since we are sinners, God knows we need help. He says of Christ:
And there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12

Moreover, the Lord Jesus Christ said: Ye must be born again. John 3:7. God knows that when we were born sinners in this world, so we need a second birth.

WHAT GOD DID
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life . John 3:16

God gave His Son to make a great work on the cross of Calvary. Christ died for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring God. 1 Peter 3:18

Based on its work on the cross Christ said: I am the way and the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father except through me. John 14:6

WHAT GOD WANTS
God wants you to admit you are a sinner and repent. God commands all men everywhere to repent. Acts 17:30

God wants you to trust in Christ as the Savior who died for their sins.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Acts 16:31

You can not do anything else for salvation. For by grace are ye saved
through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

WHAT GOD SAYS
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life, but whoever rejects the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36

If you reject Christ commits a sin that can never be forgiven, and be punished by the wrath of God forever. However, if you trust in Christ, God promises eternal life.
